About LJH Crafts and Decorations
Our Mission
Eleven years ago, at 50, I was laid off and was too old and over educated and unable to find gainful employment. For years prior to unemployment, I worked on my home and learned carpentry skills.
Today, I run a small "pop" shop out of my garage. At LJH Crafts and Decorations, my mission is to create and provide high-quality crafts to my customers. God has given me a creative mind and wood crafting is a way to express this creative spirit and bring joy to people's lives.
What Do I Produce?
I began wood crafting by making bird houses with license plate roofs and spark plug bird perches. I branched out to making signs by engraving with a rotary tool. That became too painful and I transitioned to a laser engraver. Now I make personalized signs, coasters, Bible verses, Christian hymns, signs with sports (college and pro), music band logos engraving and nature scenes. I also make cutting boards and Stove Top cutting boards and many other items. The Pink Floyd was a special custom item for a customer. It is nearly 2 feet by 18 inches.
